BLE fans and folks.  Here are some words of inspiration for the coming summer festival season by one of  BLE's best fans, Vince Smith:

Bringing the BLE family back in Summer of 2008

 

It's high time. Really high time. Because I need the spiritual fix only Big Leg Emma can provide. I miss the beautiful melodies and lyrics of Steve and Charity. I DESPERATELY miss Amanda and Charity's soaring harmonies. And I miss the fantastic instrumental musicianship and interplay of all the band members. And of course -our little family. There are some I haven't even really seen or hung out with in a a year? Two, maybe? And New Year's is too long to go without seeing most of our community. Perhaps Blue Heron will finally provide that family reunion we all need.

Pull out your roll , and roll out your dough regardless -summer's here. And I feel a big BIG hole about to be burned into a dance floor somewhere...
